YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN US FOR AN EPIC CELEBRATION OF THE BIRTH OF JESUS.

The birth of Jesus is some of the best news the world has ever heard. We set out to celebrate it as just that, the best news the world has ever heard.

THE DETAILS YOU SHOULD KNOW

We will have three identical services on Christmas Eve; 11a, 3p and 5p.

Find us at 959 Church St. in Monmouth.

Come dressed as you like. An ugly Christmas sweater would be awesome. Just saying!

There will even be a chance to have your picture taken with Santa at the 5p service.

Why Xmas?

You may wonder why we call it XMAS. Isn't that some sort of subversive plot to remove Christ from Christmas? Actually it isn't at all. Xmas first appeared among writings of monks. The X is the first letter in Christ when spelled in the original Greek. At some point over the last several decades an urban legend developed that Xmas was a subversive plot by some antiChristian force to remove Jesus Christ from Christmas. This urban legend has been repeated so many times many have come to believe it as truth. Therefore when a church uses it, it draws attention and begins conversations. This allows us to have a chance to share with you and anyone who might ask the significance of the X and who this whole Christmas thing is really about. So...Happy Xmas to you and your family and may you never forget the X.
